Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) has renamed the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) to School of General Studies (SGS). The Academic Board of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede has renamed the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) to School of General Studies (SGS). The decision was taken at its 579 Emergency meeting of 12th July 2021 at the Council Chambers. It should be noted that National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) gave the directive stating that the new name must be effective before the next Accreditation Exercise. The Accreditation date is however scheduled to hold from 2nd-6th August 2021. In view of this, therefore, this change of nomenclature is with IMMEDIATE EFFECT. Please kindly comply accordingly. Ekiti State University, EKSU examination commencement date for the second semester, 2019/2020 academic session. The management of the Ekiti State University  (EKSU) has released the schedule for the second semester, 2019/2020 academic session examinations. EKSU Examinations Schedule The Senate of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti has postponed the second-semester examination for 2019/2020 earlier scheduled to start on, 12th July, 2021 by one week. However, the postponement does not affect the ongoing Postgraduate Examinations. This decision followed the various pleas from the Students’ Union body and distinguished members of Senate that the examination be shifted by one week.
